Our afternoon event co-hosted by the Australian Consulate General Houston, Australian American Chamber of Commerce Texas and Baylor College of Medicine Center for Space Medicine, celebrated the international partnerships and research between the US and Australia which is enabling new discoveries for human health in space.
Held at the Rice University BioScience Research Collaborative (BRC), the afternoon comprised of a fireside chat between Australian Astronaut Candidate Katherine Bennell-Pegg and Dr. Emmanuel Urquieta, Chief Medical Officer of Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH), followed by a networking reception.
